2. Booking your vehicle online

2.1 You may use the Website to configure and book a new vehicle online on the Website.

2.3 As you continue through your online journey, you will have the option to customise and personalise the vehicle that you’ve selected. Through the course of this process, you may add or remove extras to your selected vehicle.

2.4 When submitting your booking request, your information will be forwarded to one of our Citroën representatives, who will conduct a credit assessment to assess your eligibility for purchase. Our Citroën representative will then send your details to your nominated authorised Citroën dealer, who will contact you.

2.5 When submitting your booking request, we will acknowledge your online booking, but a contract will not be prepared at this stage. A reference number will be assigned to your booking.

2.6 If you do not wish to use the ‘book online’ process, please visit your nearest authorised Citroën dealer who will assist you.

2.7 Your nearest authorised Citroën dealer will make available the same or similar offers for new vehicles as presented on the Website in addition to the authorised Citroën dealers usual offering.

3. Availability of the Website to book vehicles and availability of vehicles

3.1 The website can be used to book vehicles for delivery or collection only in South Africa.

3.2 All customers who book vehicles on the Website must have a valid South African or international drivers licence.

3.3 The images of the vehicles and the size and dimension of icons and indicators on the Website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the sizes and colours of our vehicles, accessories and trims accurately, we cannot guarantee that your PC, laptop, tablet or mobile phone will display the sizes or colours accurately to reflect the actual size or colour of the vehicles. Your new vehicle may vary slightly from those images.

3.4 Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the Website runs in an optimal manner, we cannot guarantee that the Website will meet your requirements, or that the Website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error free or that defects in the Website will be corrected timeously, nor that it will be virus free.

3.5 The vehicles available for booking on the Website are from our current manufactured range.

3.6 Certain vehicles or models may not be available depending on the finance package that you select.

3.7 Offers on vehicles always apply “while stocks last”, although this may not be explicitly stated in the respective offers.

3.8 If an advertised vehicle is no longer available, or your nominated authorised Citroën dealer cannot supply the advertised vehicle, both the nominated authorised Citroën dealer or Citroën Citroen South Africa are entitled to reject or to cancel the transaction.

3.9 Should there be an error in respect of vehicle specifications, and/or incorrect pricing information, both the nominated authorised Citroën dealer or Citroën Citroen South Africa are entitled to reject or to cancel the transaction. In this case, we or the nominated authorised Citroën dealer will attempt to inform you immediately of the situation, while trying to provide you with an alternative vehicle offer as quickly as possible.

4. Role of Citroën dealers

4.1 If Should you book a new vehicle on the Website, you will be taken through the online booking process and which allows you to place a booking for a new vehicle.

4.2 You will be requested to nominate an authorised Citroën dealer who will supply your new vehicle to you.

4.3 You may either collect your new vehicle from your nominated authorised Citroën dealer free of charge, or request home delivery which shall be subject to a home delivery fee.

5. Online pricing

5.1 When booking a vehicle through the Website, you will be provided with
5.2 information on the pricing of the vehicle at different stages of your online journey.

5.3 At the start of your online journey, the price displayed on the selected vehicle will be based on the Manufacturer’s Recommended Retail Price (“OEM price”) without any manufacturer discount or savings applied.

5.4 As you continue through your online journey, we, Citroën Citroen South Africa, or your nominated authorised Citroën dealer may offer a discount or contribution to the OEM price. Therefore, the price specified in the booking summary or the vehicle purchase contract may be different to the price displayed at the start of your online journey.

5.5 All information and pricing on the vehicles are intended to be up to date at all times, but are subject to change at any time without prior notice.

5.6 Please visit the Website regularly and keep up to date on pricing or contact your nearest authorised Citroën dealer for the most up-to-date pricing and specification details for all vehicle models.

5.7 The vehicle prices shown are final, subject to any discounts or contributions, any finance fees and delivery costs.

5.8 The vehicle prices include VAT (value added tax), unless expressly stated otherwise.

5.9 The price that you actually pay for your new vehicle will only ever be the OEM price or less.

5.10 Finance Calculator are estimated values. *All calculations made on calculators supplied on this site, together with rates quoted, are guidelines only and are subject to confirmation at the time of finalising any transactions.

6. Contract Information

6.1 You will receive the contract for the purchase of your selected vehicle (or any other suitable vehicle agreed to between you and the authorised Citroën dealer) from the nominated authorised Citroën dealer.

6.2 Should you require additional services such as leasing, financing and insurance, you may approach our finance partners.

6.3 Payment is to be made directly to the delivering dealership. Payments relating to finance and leasing contracts have to be made as agreed in the respective contracts.

6.4 Any information contained on the Website cannot be regarded as an offer of acceptance resulting in a legally binding contract.

7. Delivery

7.1 You will take delivery of the vehicle that you selected (or any other suitable vehicle agreed to between you and the authorised Citroën dealer) from the nominated authorised Citroën dealer.

7.2 The purchase price including any other charges are payable prior to the delivery or collection of the vehicle.

7.3 Delivery fees will be charged separately by the nominated authorised Citroën dealer.

7.4 All delivery dates or collection dates of the vehicle are estimated dates only and are not binding.

7.5 If the delivery dates or collection dates of your new vehicle are delayed by an event outside our control or the control of the nominated authorised Citroën dealer we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know of the delay.

7.6 We and/or the nominated authorised Citroën dealer will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay and will keep in touch with you in order to update you when the vehicle will be available for delivery or collection.

8. How do we contact you and how do you contact us

8.1 When booking on the Website or when using the Website, Citroën Citroen South Africa or one of our Citroën representatives will be available during the hours of 08:30am and 07:00pm on weekdays on 0860 77 24 24 (excluding bank holidays) to assist you with any questions or comments about the vehicles, finance packages, booking, or delivery process.

8.2 We Citroën Citroen South Africa or one of our Citroën representatives may also contact you during the hours of 08:30am and 07:00pm on weekdays (excluding bank holidays) to follow up on the progress of the booking details provided and we will adhere with our Privacy Policy in doing so.

8.3 You agree that you will not attempt to register in the name of any other individual, company or organisation. All information supplied by you as part of the booking process will be protected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8.4 If you have a compliment, query or complaint about the booking process or the Website or in respect of any aspect of the online journey please contact our customer care centre on 0860 77 24 24.
